All companies →Pickleball industry jobs: FAQ
How do I get a job in the pickleball industry?+
The same way you'd get a job in any growing industry: get specific. Decide whether you want to work for a paddle brand, a club or facility, a tour or media company, or a tech startup serving the sport — each has a different hiring rhythm and skill profile. Browse open roles on Third Shot to see who's hiring right now, then tailor your application to the actual segment. Industry knowledge helps but isn't a hard requirement for most roles outside coaching.
What companies are hiring in pickleball?+
Currently posting on Third Shot: Selkirk, JOOLA, Life Time, The Picklr, DUPR, Babolat, and 150+ others — paddle and gear brands, indoor club operators, tour organizers, media outlets, and pickleball tech companies. The full list is on our companies page, sorted by number of open roles.
Are there remote pickleball jobs?+
Yes. Marketing, engineering, content, customer support, and operations roles often offer remote or hybrid options, especially at smaller brands and tech startups. Coaching, facility management, and event roles are almost always on-site. You can filter remote-only roles on the jobs page.
How much do pickleball industry jobs pay?+
It varies widely by segment. Coaching ranges from hourly clinic pay to six-figure head-coach salaries at large clubs. Brand and tech roles pay close to what comparable consumer-goods or SaaS companies pay outside the sport. Facility and hospitality roles track local market rates. We surface posted salaries when employers include them and flag inferred ranges where confidence is high.
Do I need to be a competitive player to work in pickleball?+
For coaching, yes — credentialed or competitive playing experience is usually required. For almost every other role (marketing, engineering, operations, sales, design, content), no. Loving the sport helps you understand the customer and the culture, but companies hire for the job skill first.
How do I post a pickleball job on Third Shot?+
Employers can post a role here. Posting is free during our launch period; listings stay live for 60 days and appear in the daily aggregation, the weekly newsletter, and Google Jobs.
