Part-time pickleball instructor (Level I or II) at Chilson Recreation Center in Loveland, CO, serving participants across age groups and skill levels.
What you'll do
- Instruct registered pickleball participants across age groups and skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans for each class
- Inspect program environment and equipment for safety
- Handle emergencies per established procedures
- Complete administrative tasks including attendance, skill assessments, and class evaluations
- Provide make-up sessions as required
What we're looking for
- Instructor I: minimum age 16; Instructor II: minimum age 18 with high school diploma or GED
- Instructor II: one year of experience coaching or teaching pickleball required
- Extensive prior pickleball participation and sound knowledge of the game
- Instructor I: previous assistant instructor experience preferred
- Coursework in recreation, education, or therapeutic recreation preferred
- Must obtain First Aid and CPR certifications within 60 days of hire
